Poetry!

For the past two weeks of school, I have been learning the true meaning of Hip Hop. Many may ask what is the meaning of Hip Hop? Why was Hip Hop created? From my point of view Hip Hop is the same as poetry. They both express the way someone feels as of in the world of today. As we were watching a movie called " Louder than A Bomb", it made me feel in a way that maybe I can write poetry and make good things up out of it. "Louder Than A Bomb" was very interesting as many of the children made me feel for something that they were going through. The words to words of their poetry was very understanding as they told their poem in the way of emotion. We had an assignment of creating my own poem. My poem was called "Blind".  The reason for me to create a poem like that with such name was because I wanted to relate the word " Blind" with the word "Love". I added in the poem as others feel of wasting their heart for someone who doesn't care.I really enjoyed the participation of creating my own poem and knowing what is feels like to be one of those kids in " Louder Than A Bomb". As I finally know the true meaning of Hip Hop and poetry I now understand lyrics of music and poetry of others. I hope to create a better poem that many can relate to as the other.
